Additional FAQs
Can I have a tour of the resort?
Yes, we offer tours of the resort to our new prospective pet parents! No appointments are required, but we are busiest between 6:30-8am and 5-7pm.
We encourage prospective parents to visit outside those times, during off-peak hours.
Can I bring my own food?
Absolutely – and we highly encourage it! Unlike some boarding facilities that don’t allow outside food, we welcome it because keeping your pet on their regular diet is the healthiest option. Sudden food changes can upset sensitive stomachs, so bringing their usual meals from home helps your pet feel comfortable and cared for. For convenience, please pre-bag each meal for the length of your pet’s stay. If you happen to run out or your pet already eats it at home, we also offer a premium veterinary diet (Purina EN) on site. No need to pack bowls – we provide clean, sanitized ones for every guest.
What should I bring for my first boarding stay?
Please bring vaccination records, any medications (we cannot administer injections), food, emergency contact numbers and any personal items. You may bring beds, chew toys, or any manageable item that will enhance your pet’s stay. We ask that for your pet’s safety, do not bring any glass or ceramic items. (while we take every possible precaution to return all belongings in good condition, we recommend cherished items stay at home).
What time is check-out for dogs?
10 am. Check-out after 10 am includes choice of play for only $12. Puppies under 6 months play for $20.
What time is check-out for cats?
10 am. Check-out after 10 am continues the pet's care for $12.
Are reservations required?
Yes, reservations are required for boarding and grooming services. Reserve online or contact your preferred location today! We recommend making your reservation as soon as possible, especially during busy times of the year. A $25 deposit is required to hold your reservation.
What if my pet needs veterinary care while staying at PetSuites?
If your pet needs veterinary care while during his or her stay PetSuites will try to consult with your pet’s primary veterinarian. If this is not possible, we work with several local veterinarians to resolve any medical situation that may arise. At PetSuites, our goal is to be the best place for your pet when they aren’t at home, and that means ensuring a happy, healthy and safe environment. We are pleased to offer the PetSuites Health Care Commitment Program, in which PetSuites will reimburse you up to $500 for any eligible expenses incurred while your pet is at our resort receiving boarding, daycare, training and/or grooming services. When you bring your pet to PetSuites, you are automatically enrolled in this program and will be eligible to receive this reimbursement for any treatment or diagnosis provided by your licensed veterinarian for any incident that occurred during your pet’s stay or up to 5 days after their departure. For more details regarding the program and to sign the Health Care Commitment, contact your local resort.
Are there any restrictions at PetSuites?
We cater to all cats and dogs, regardless of breed or special needs. For their own safety and the safety of others guests, we are not able to accept unneutered male cats, guests in heat or those that may be coming into heat, guests that are pregnant, guests with open wounds, stitches or contagious diseases. We administer medications free of charge, however we are unable to give injections. If you have additional questions, please contact your local resort.
